Winter Flower~!

Winter Flower

Winter here it's so cold (>_<) .....

We were busy  for this a few months, a lot of thing to do . So i didn't have time to update the blog.

May be we will be busy till spring. 

Now my orchids keep flowing, my succulent too. 

This Orchid took like nearly a month to full bloom. I hope it will last long :D~

this one too. it took a few weeks to full bloom.

Soon it will bloom fully :)~ looking forward to see ( This is the first bloom , so exiting!)

Taeniophyllum Biocellatum

About a half year  I've been having this small leafless orchid 

(Taeniophyllum Biocellatum) from Thailand.

a few weeks ago it started to shoot a spike . 

It took like  a week to develop to flower. Then today it started to bloom. The flower is so tiny, only like 3mm big!!.

so far It is the smallest orchind flower I have.

The flower has no fragment.

It so small!

今日もあまり天気は良くないけれど、

魅力的な色、姿はいつ見てもいい。

軽い気持ちで植えてからどんどん成長していき

現在３メートル超え。

この力強い姿が秋そして冬と続くのは頼もしい。

けど葉を触ると知らない間に肌が切れている。。。

これだけ大きいとうちの狭い空間で葉に触らないように

するのは大変。。。。

連休最終日は晴れるといいなあ。

うちの庭

こんなのが東北の庭に地植えできたらなあ〜

ここら辺は雪国ではないけれど、

それでも結構頻繁に降ります。

この赤と雪の白のコントラスト、見てみたい。

これもこのままずっとここにぶら下げて置きたい。

うちの庭には合わないと思っていたけど

実際白樫にぶら下げてみると思ったよりいい感じに溶け込んでる。

こちらはやっと見栄え良くなってきたなあと思ったら

もう取り込みを考えないといけない時期に。でもやっぱり屋外に置くほうが

伸び伸びしてる気がする。

夏の名残。

でも日はすっかり秋。

このティランジアたちも中に移動させないと。

いろいろアガベとニーム。

種からだけどちゃんと育ってるみたい、とりあえずよかった。

昼間はすっかり秋で朝晩は寒いくらいです。

日も短くなってきて、

なぜか焦りますね。

About us!

ちょっと当店の状態をお知らせしたいと思います。

ご存知の方もいらっしゃると思いますが、

当店の店主はタイ人です。

植物、特にタイのような熱帯の植物が好きで

それを四季がある日本で育てるという挑戦が好きらしいです。

とても魅力的なタイや他の温かいところの植物を

日本でいろいろな人と共有したいと、

お店を始めました。

日本に住んで長くなって来ましたが、

まだまだ通じるような日本語で

ネット上に商品を掲載したり、

メールにてお客様とやりとりをしたり、

ブログを書いたりすることができません。

そこで妻である 日本人の私が代わりに

日本語を含む作業をしています。

基本的に夫が言いたいことを

私が代わりに書いています。

しかしそこは夫婦 なのですが、

私は知識がなく、

プロの通訳なわけでもなく、

もともとの考え方が違うのもありで

なかなかうまくいきません。

ので私は間違ったことを言わないために

最小限のシンプルな文で済ませてしまいます。

ところどころでおかしい説明文や、

言葉が足らないところ、

わかりにくいところがあり

大変申し訳ありません。

私も少しづつですがわかることを

増やしていき

わかりやすい商品説明ができるように

勤めて参りたいと思います。

Continue Bug!

Today finally i got the answer from Thailand about the bug called"Soil mite" .

they say it's harmless to Tillandsia.

Most of them are dark colour like black or brown. 

But if it is white colour and makes webs like spiders, that's harmful.

           Usually they form groups. they make plants dead by sucking water out from the plants.

どうやらあの虫は土ダニという害はない虫のようです。

タイ人の方に教えてもらいました。

黒や茶色の暗い色の土 ダニは大丈夫ということです。

しかし、白く蜘蛛の巣のような巣を作って群れをなしているものは

害虫で、植物を枯らしてしますようです。

So at last we know they are safe! 

やっと安全だということがわかりました。
